Nice to meet you, I’m Eriko! Together with my husband Jeff (and taste testing courtesy of our boys Jake and Koji), we decided it was time to embark on this sweet journey to nourish our creativity and spread joy.

I was born in Tokyo and raised in the United States. Leaving my favorite candies was hard but my family in Japan made sure to ship care packages full of tasty treats. Nothing was more exciting than seeing that big paper box neatly tied with twill show up on our doorstep.

I’ve been lucky to live in big cities where I could find Japanese candies, and I made a point to share them with people I care about. After years of gifting boxes for special occasions, I wanted to share the delight of receiving and gifting a beautifully arranged box filled with carefully selected Japanese candies with everyone.
